Lake Oswego, Oregon
Built: 2005
Contractor: Hampton Pacific Builders
This traditional style house was built in an established suburban neighborhood, the floor plan conforming closely to a sketch worked out by the owners, and the house designed and sited to satisfy stringent local setback and height limits. Although the forms and details of the house are quietly traditional, it has a more contemporary arrangement of rooms, with emphasis on natural light, movement between rooms, connection to outside spaces, and all-around livability.
